Salty Apparel is an innovative Canadian streetwear brand with creativity, comfort and an appealing and infectious lifestyle serving as a foundation for success.
Salty Apparel was started in Rockland, a small town on the east end of Ottawa in March 2012 by Drake Andrews.
Over the past few years Drake and his team have worked with a number of contributors from across the globe to build the brand from the ground up. Developing a society of people connected through surf, skate, fashion, art and most importantly, a good sense of humor. An important aspect of any successful brand is to be relatable to your customers, and given the interesting, varying dialects of young Canadian’s, the “salty” lifestyle has been each intriguing and easy to embrace.

What does “salty” mean?
Salty is a term term that brand founder Drake Andrews used in high school as slang for hilarious, extreme, and memorable moments that happen in everyday life. The word can be used to represent anything from a notable achievement to an unbelievable moment or experience. Everyone can read ‘salty’ and think of something different or use the word in a different manner, which is a large reason for our love of the word. It’s something that is unique and can be relatable or used by anybody. The word caught on which eventually lead to the brand.
How much is shipping?
No sweat, we pay for the shipping!
Do you sponsor artists, athletes, musicians, etc.?
Due to the limited nature of our products and our brand’s current size, we currently don’t offer sponsorship. However, please feel free to introduce yourself as we’re always happy to hear from new people and fans of the brand.
Do you have any women’s specific clothing or just men’s that can be worn as unisex?
Our women’s collection will be available starting in Fall 2013.

We’re always looking for new people to help spread word about the brand. Each street team member gets a specific discount code and the more it is used, you will build up points to redeem for merchandise or a cash payment. Are exchanges available?
Exchanges must be approved and are allowed up to 14 days from the purchase date. Please use our Contact Us page to reach us and notify us of any issues with your order.
My order hasn’t arrived, can I get a refund or a new order shipped out?
All of our products are shipped with tracking numbers and are insured. If for some reason, your item doesn’t arrive, please contact us so that we may fix the issue.
